Some good
news: the repair of the weir and bankside is going to go ahead and EA permissions
are being sought for the works currently. The anticipated time scale is as
follows:

End of March – submit Methodology incl. measures to address pollution risks, silk risks, flood risks, daily EA flood alerts.

End of April – Flood Defence Consent approval.

Mid-May – commence works.

Mid-June – complete works.
Following the works there will need to be additional soft landscaping and
planting which Ladywell Fields User Group may contribute to.
